What we collect
When you sign up for Movement Breaks, we collect:
- Account info — your name and email address
- Payment info — processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number
- Phone number — only if you opt into SMS reminders
- Usage data — which videos you complete and when, to track your streak
- Device info — browser type, screen size, and timezone for a better experience
How we use it
- Deliver your daily stretch videos
- Send reminders via email or SMS (only if you opt in)
- Process your subscription payments through Stripe
- Track your streak and weekly progress
- Improve the service and fix bugs
Third-party services
We use the following services to run Movement Breaks:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Clerk — authentication and sign-in
- Customer.io — email and SMS delivery
- Vimeo — video hosting and playback
- Vercel — application hosting
- AWS — database hosting
Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data needed for each service to function.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to track referrals. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for 90 days in case you decide to come back, then delete it. You can request immediate deletion at any time.
Your rights
You can:
- Update your name and email in the app
- Turn reminders on or off at any time
- Request a copy of your data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data

Children
Movement Breaks is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
